Preparing for Your Personal Injury Case

CHAPTER EIGHT

PREPARING YOUR

PERSONAL INJURY CASE

Once you have hired The Law Offices of Robert T. Edens work on your case begins immediately.

With your assistance, I will review the facts of your case in order to give you an honest assessment of the value of your case.  I will review the police reports, photos, damage estimates, medical records, insurance documents, and any other paperwork you have. Afterwards, I will give you an overall assessment of your case including your chances of recovery.

A more in-depth evaluation will take place once all documents pertaining to your accident injuries have been obtained. This will include current and prior medical records, doctor’s notes and narrative reports, police reports, detailed pictures of the accident, witness statements and everything else needed to evaluate your case; then I will explain to you the entire process from start to finish as it applies to your case.   This may include pre-filing negotiations, uninsured/underinsured motorist arbitration, litigation, discovery and more.

Depending on what you and I agree is the best approach, myself and my staff will prepare demand on the at fault driver including detained support on liability, as well as case value.  Again, this will often include detailed photos, jury verdict studies, medical opinions, accident reconstructions, day-in-the-life videos, future care plans and whatever else is necessary to fully prepare this demand.
